Andrew Priolo - NU-STYLE LIVING Racing

Priolo’s New Challenges
After spending most of his time competing on the West Coast of Australia in recent years and winning almost everything that there is to win there, this season will see Andrew Priolo looking to take on some greater challenges within the Formula 500 division.
One could be forgiven for thinking that Priolo has been around in the Formula 500 division for a lot longer than the three years he has. Now entering into his fourth season, Priolo’s achievement list in the last season alone reads as a what’s what of major events and championships in Australia: Six Feature Wins and nineteen podium finishes, top qualifying for the Australian Title and then coming home third in the final, winning the Bunny Burrowes Memorial $5,000 to win race, claiming the Perth Motorplex Track Championship (his second in a row, plus coming second the year before in his rookie season), winning the West Coast Series Championship and competing in no less than four different states.
Add this to his prior achievements: being a former rookie of the year, and winning a WA State Championship amongst many others and it is certain that Priolo has certainly got talent behind the wheel.
Over the last three seasons of course he has been well supported by his major sponsor, MAC Projects.
“I have to say a huge thanks to them” says Andrew. “They were a major support to me and my great success would not have been possible without them.”
Of course all good things come to an end and this season, with Priolo taking on some new challenges, he is proud to announce that NU-STYLE Living has come on board as theteam’s new major sponsor.
“I have a great business and working relationship with the company” states Andrew. “I am the designer for their residential development sites with my own Building Design company, ‘ARCHIVISION’ and now we have extended that partnership even further”
As touched on earlier, Andrew is setting new goals this season. After winning the past two Perth Motorplex Track Championships and coming second in the season before, he has decided to shift his focus and contest much more interstate racing. This doesn’t mean he won’t be racing at the Motorplex at all though: he has still penciled in a few rounds at his home track including this weekend’s Grand Opening Showdown, while he has also found room to contest the entire West Coast Series here in WA.
Andrews schedule is also comprehensive outside of WA and this season will see him take on no less than five state titles, the entire Speedweek Series and the Australian Championship at Rockhampton Speedway. All this as well as other individual big races across the nation, including the South Pacific in Tasmania in which he will be driving for Joinery Products Racing, owned by Marcus Kelly.
“I am feeling very excited with the new look race team and to have the backing of NU-STYLE Living is something that I am very thrilled about.” Says Andrew. “I feel that I have some unfinished business with the Australian Championship and I would love to finish two steps higher than last year. It would also be a major goal for me to take the Speedweek Series with a couple of round wins which I feel that we are more than capable of.”
Of course, none of this would be possible without the loyal support of the team’s partners: NU-STYLE LIVING, PCS Group, DoubleG Skips, Watsons Express Transport, Vortex Racing Products, PMP Chassis, Sero’s Racing Technologies, S&A Smash Repairs, IPS Group, and JP Signs.
It is set to be a very exciting season for Andrew and the whole team. What makes it even more exciting is that Andrew is considered a genuine threat any time that he enters a race meeting and the potential results for this season are just mind blowing.
