The Victorian Formula 500 Association, in conjunction with Oval Express Magazine, have secured race dates for the 2010/11 Oval Express Formula 500 series. Next season sees a new 8 round format.
Round 1 will open a little later this year on December 30 at Western Speedway, Hamilton. This slightly later start date will allow race teams to enjoy Christmas at home and have sufficient time for travel.
Round 2 moves to Avalon Raceway on December 31 which will be an early night to allow teams to celebrate New Years Eve.
Round 3 continues with traditional double header on New Years Day at Sungold Stadium, Warrnambool with World Series Sprintcars also on the program.
Round 4 moves down the road to Laang International Speedway on 2 January.
Round 5 will see the series return to Simpson Speedway on 4 January.
Round 6 is confirmed at Mid Western Speedway, Darlington on 5th Jan and Round 7 at Borderline Speedway, Mt Gambier on 7th Jan.
The series will wind up with the final round to be held at Sungold Stadium, Warrnambool on Jan 9th 2011.
