GOULBURN F500 CLUB
The 2011 Australian Formula 500 Title to be staged at the Goulburn Speedway Complex has been set and locked in for the 22nd & 23rd April, 2011.
These dates are the Friday and Saturday respectively of the Easter / Anzac long weekend next year.
As many drivers, crews and officials are aware Easter and Anzac Day are on the same weekend next year with the Monday (25th April) being Anzac Day. As a matter of respect a decision jointly made by representatives from both the Goulburn Formula 500 Club and the Goulburn Speedway Club to bring the staging of the Title event forward by one (1) day, This will allow persons that wish to attend Anzac Day Services the opportunity to do so.
Brochures and information has been sent to each State Association and should be received by the respective State representative(s) within the next few days. I urge that persons attending next year's Title event to book accommodation A.S.A.P as to not to be disappointed. People requiring accommodation can seek information via the Goulburn Tourism Information Centre website - www.igoulburn.com
The 2011 A.C.T. Formula 500 Title has also been set with the State Title event to be held on the 16th April, 2011, the weekend prior to the Aust, Title event. This will give drivers and their crews an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the track and the facilities before the Blue Ribbon event. Details for the State Title will be released at a later date.
