 :: PRESS RELEASE ::
:: Qool Energy Drinks" Fraser Coast Title At Maryborough Speedway

Wednesday, 3 February 2010
Ryan Harris

The flying Formula 500's return to the Maryborough Speedway this Saturday night for the "Qool Energy Drinks" 2010 Fraser Coast Title.

The Maryborough Sporting Car Club in conjunction with the Maryborough & District Formula 500 Association are very pleased to announce that Qool Energy Drinks has signed on as the naming rights sponsor for this Saturday nights event.

Designed by the House of QOOL, QOOL Energy Drink delivers an energy boost with a flavour that is unique, delicious, fresh and crisp.

Manufactured from the ground up in Australia, our mission was to release QOOL Energy Drink as a high quality product with a strong image in a market congested with pretenders. QOOL is the real deal.

If you need a revitalising boost to your energy levels or to just keep Qool, try QOOL Energy Drink which will be available for sale at the Maryborough Speedway on Saturday 6th February, 2010.

Maintain your QOOLNESS!

With a quality field of 19 cars nominated, including all of the Queensland stars, a big night of Formula 500 racing can be expected.

Newly crowned Victorian Champ Dale Shilleto heads the list of nominations, as well as Mick & Nathan Pronger, Brad Metcalfe, Garry Hart, Robbie Muscat, Barry Gibbes along with the brother & sister team of Kristin and Charlie Brown.

Along with $500 up for grabs for the winner of the feature race, an additional $250 has been put up for the winner of the All Stars Dash. With the All Stars Dash having an inverted starting order based on qualifing points from the heats, and the finishing positions determining the starting positions in the A Main, the question on everyones lips is, go for it, or play a strategy game and try to qualify in 9th or 10th position and then start the Dash from the front row. All this might be a great tactical move, if you miss-calculate your points, you could find yourself not even in the Dash and starting down the back in the 20 lap A Main.

The Maryborough & District Formula 500 Association have organised some fantastic glass trophies, that will look the part in anyones trophy cabinet, so if you love Formula 500 racing, then make treks to the Maryborough Speedway this Saturday night.

Early racing commences at 4pm. For more information about the meeting check out www.maryboroughspeedway.com.au.

Here is the full list of nominations for this Saturday nights "Qool Energy Drinks" Fraser Coast Title.
